At WomensLaw, we are devoted to providing support and assistance to all survivors of gender-based violence, regardless of gender identity or expression. Our program offers a variety of services, including support groups, individual counseling, help navigating systems, healing-focused workshops, client advocacy, and goal-setting. The Office on Violence Against Women provides valuable information and resources for all women who have been victims of crime. Our mission is to eliminate domestic violence in Central Texas by providing shelter to victims of domestic violence and preventing abuse through intervention and education.
If you are looking for help with family violence, please visit the Texas Family Violence Council or the Texas Advocacy Project. These organizations provide a range of services to survivors of gender-based violence, including legal assistance, crisis counseling, support groups, and more. At WomensLaw, we understand that survivors of gender-based violence may feel overwhelmed and alone. That's why we strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for survivors to heal and grow.
We offer a variety of services to help survivors cope with their experiences and move forward in their lives. Our support groups provide a safe space for survivors to share their stories and receive emotional support from others who have experienced similar situations. We also offer individual counseling sessions with trained professionals who can help survivors process their experiences and develop coping strategies. We also provide assistance with navigating systems such as the criminal justice system, social services, and other government agencies.
Our client advocates can help survivors understand their rights and access the resources they need. In addition to our support services, we also offer healing-focused workshops that focus on topics such as self-care, healthy relationships, and trauma recovery. These workshops provide an opportunity for survivors to learn new skills and gain insight into their experiences. At WomensLaw, we believe that all survivors deserve access to the resources they need to heal and move forward in their lives.
We are committed to providing support and assistance to all survivors of gender-based violence in Central Texas.
